About us

Born in 1931 under Marcel Barbier who was succeeded by Jean Todeschini in 1977, until Alain Roussiaux took over in 1996, VERONESE has raised interior lighting and handcrafted glass to a fine art. We specialise in manufacturing, designing and reproducing light fixtures and mirrors in collaboration with renowned designers and metal craftsmen, and the famed Murano mastercraftsmen.

Lighting “made to measure”...

We customise every single piece, which is made to measure to fit the volumes, colours and styles required. We take pride in being true “fashion designers” of interior lighting. Our master glassblowers blow and handcraft each piece in their own unique way from a mix of glass and metal. Each lighting fixture hence bears the individual imprint of all the master craftsmen who have been working with VERONESE for many years. Each of them has developed a special skill, from netted or twisted “filigree”, thin or twisted ribbing “rigadin” and metal die cross-relief “balloton”, to hot colour applications and gold leaf crystal. Such skills simply turn into a noble art in the hands of craftsmen who can produce anything to order, from the simplest of pendant lamps to the most magnificent of chandeliers.

VERONESE can be best described as a team of designers, placed under the expert guidance of Nicole Cazal, a graduate in Applied Arts who has been heading our design department for several years. Our team has been creating, adapting, manufacturing or restoring interior lighting fixtures and mirrors for the benefit of architects, design departments, interior designers or private clients all over the world. Each lighting model made for a client is just as unique as a work of art.
